OctoberACES Khobar has recently completed the geotechnical investigation and topographic survey for the Solar Energy Parks. ACES scope of work in this project included drilling of 132 boreholes, excavating of test pits, performing several onsite tests such as; cross-hole, seismic refraction tests, soil electrical resistivity tests and thermal resistivity tests. Also, ACES conducted the topographic survey for each site performed intensive laboratory tests and prepared interpretative geotechnical and topographic reports for each site.

NovemberREPDO is expected to issue tender documents for the main contract in early 2020.
- 12th
JanuaryREPDO has issued the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) on this project. The deadline for submission of RFQ applications is February 06, 2020. It has been specified that the project will carry a minimum requirement of 17% local content as calculated by the mechanism defined by the Local Content & Government Procurement Authority, which aims to increase the value-added contribution of products and services in the national economy.
