Development of afforestation by planting 7.5 million trees across the capital.
This project is currently under planning stage.
Egis has been awarded the "Program Management and Technical Support Services" contract for the implementation of this project. The project aims to increase green cover in Riyadh from 1.5% to 9.1% between now and 2030. Egis is working on this project as programme management consultant to deploy the strategy and supervise several hundreds of projects involved in the programme. This assignment includes:
* The control and governance of the strategy, including monitoring and coordination tools (IT, timeframes, budget, reporting, etc.),
* Advice on regulations and governance,
* Advice on design, through the preparation of design guides, the definition of employer requirements in tenders and design verification,
* Preparation of tender documentation and monitoring of service providers from upstream phases to construction and operation.
Client has issued a tender for contractors to deliver infrastructure works for this project. The scope of the contract includes site preparation, earthworks, planting, irrigation and water tank works, among other items. Contractors have until 25 April 2021 to complete submissions for the package.
