FebruaryWork is progressing well on this development. The project has a mix of male and female engineers, with 85 per cent of the company’s staff made up of Saudis, of which 30 percent are women. The project is being designed to turn the area into a cultural and sports tourist destination. The operational work of the project will pave the way for the local private sector to play a part in the project.
- 21th
MarchJeddah Central Development Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) has signed an agreement with the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces Institute to acquire a prime site for the Phase One of this project. The Phase One spanning 1.5 million sq m area, will include a sports stadium, beach and recreation areas.
