NovemberNational Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) is waiting for Saudi Arabia’s International Maritime Industries (IMI) to allocate land for the oil and gas contractor to build its fabrication yard in the kingdom. The land for the fabrication yard has been identified but is yet to be allocated.

FebruarySaudi Ports Authority (Mawani) and the National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) signed a hand-over ceremony of the land for commencing the construction of a fabrication yard at Ras Al Khair Port. The hand-over of the land follows an agreement signed between NPCC and Saudi Aramco in 2018 to build a fully integrated fabrication yard and marine base for a total investment of SAR 160 million. To be built over 450,000 square meters, the fabrication yard will create over 2,000 jobs.
