OctoberSaudi Arabia’s Tatweer Buildings Company (TBC) has received bids for the public-private partnership (PPP) contract to develop 60 schools in Jeddah and Mecca. The companies prequalified to bid are: Australia’s Macquarie, France’s Bouygues Construction, and local companies Alfanar, Al-Rajhi Holding, Masic, Ajyad Knowledge Company, Al-Yamama Company, El-Seif, and ABG Investments. The selected bidder will design, build, finance, maintain and transfer the schools to Saudi Arabia’s Education Ministry at the end of the contract period.

NovemberClient has opened five commercial bids for the contract to build, finance, operate and transfer 60 schools. The following firms submitted a commercial offer for the contract:
