February REPDO is being advised by: Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (DIFC Branch) as Lead and Financial Adviser; DLA Piper Middle East as Legal Adviser; and Fichtner GmbH & Co. as Technical Adviser. Interested parties should express their interest to participate in the tender process by 14 February, 2019. Interested parties should deliver their EOI in electronic copy in PDF format on the eProcurement Portal (�ePP�) �https://www.powersaudiarabia.com.sa� which is the main communication interface used by REPDO throughout the tendering process. The EOI should specify as a minimum the following information: � Name of the interested party; � Name and contact details (postal address, telephone number, and e-mail address) for the appropriate point of contact (�Point of Contact�) to whom future correspondence may be sent; and � Where the interested party is considering potential consortium partners, an indication of such intention and details of potential consortium partners (to the extent it is known). Repdo is planning to issue the RFQ by the end of February 2019. Tender documents will be issued two months after the prequalification process has started. - 03th
March REPDO has issued this Request for Qualification (�RFQ�) to seek SOQs from individual Applicants that may wish to take part in Project. Information provided in each SOQ will be used by REPDO to evaluate the suitability, capabilities and experience (organizational, technical and financial) of Applicants in order to prequalify those parties who will be invited to act as "Managing Member", "Local Managing Member" (if applicable) and/or "Technical Member" for Round 2 Projects. In order to receive an NPQ for Round 2 Projects, Applicants must submit all information requested under this RFQ. Such information will be treated as confidential by REPDO and its Advisers. Parties who fail to prequalify on as Local Managing Member, Managing Member and/or Technical Member will be able to join a consortium with parties qualified in these roles once the NPQs are issued. Applicants are invited to submit a SOQ by no later than 15:00 hrs (KSA time) on the Due Date of 08 April, 2019. - 16th
AprilClient has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Makkah Region Development Authority (MRDA) to undertake the solar power plant. The expected capacity of the power plant is 2.6 Gigawatts (GW). REPDO will prepare the project's technical studies in line with the international standards. REPDO will lead the development of 600 MW of the total capacity. The sovereign wealth fund, the Public Investment Fund (PIF), to oversee the development of the remaining 2 GW of the project's capacity. The project will fulfil the increasing demand for electricity and renewable energy.
