MayClient has issued tender for the main contract. Four 132/13.8kV substations namely 8387, 8388, 8389, 8390 will be constructed as part of the tender. Scope of work includes 132kV Gas Insulated Switchgear, 67MVA Power Transformers, Medium Voltage switchgear, Capacitor Banks, Protection System, Substation Automation System, Electro-mechanical works, civil works.

JuneA total of 11 bidders have been submitted the proposals. Saudi based construction firm, CEPCO has submitted lowest bid for Installation of 132kv Underground cable in order to connect the new substations with the network. Company submitted the price of SAR 89 million (USD 23.7 million).

JuneA total of Fifteen (15) bidders have been submitted the proposals. Saudi based construction firm, NESMA Telecom & Technology, a subsidiary of NESMA Holding has submitted lowest bid for four 132/13.8kV substation projects. Company submitted combined price of SAR 248.9 million (USD 66.3 million).
